Chinese elites appeal upon Rep Ted Lieu and Rep Judy Chu to send them to Congress Judiciary Committee for justice to investigate these federal agents’ corruption crimes
Falsely charging against Chinese-Americans is not rare in this country, especially for the first generation of Chinese immigrants. Without sufficient legal support and network, when facing with unfair charges, they lack the power to fight back, even though they have good educational background and good economic status. Yongping Zhou is one of them who have spent years on their lawsuits that have totally changed their life. In Yongping Zhou’s case, there were two corruption cases; the first occurred Marion County of Indiana State, and the second took place in the FBI field office of Indianapolis. The first corruption crime of Marion County of Indiana happened on the 4th floor of City-County Building of Indianapolis on May 18, 2005, he was attacked by bailiff Belanger without reason. Later, Marion City-County mayor and sheriff hid the surveillance footage of this crime scene by replying the court’s subpoenas in blatant perjury as FBI agent Robert concluded. Belanger and several officers conspired to make five false accusations upon Mr. Zhou.
Two law professors Henry Karlson and Joel Schumm helped Mr. Zhou for 3 years in order to defeat the horrible false accusations. Finally, the jury gave the justice to Mr. Zhou in the trial, although Belanger and 5 officers made up their contradicted perjury claims to cheat the jury in order to frame up Mr. Zhou. Mr. Zhou approached the FBI Indianapolis field office to report the human right abuses under the advice of professor Karlson on April 21, 2008. FBI field chief Welch refused to reply to Mr. Zhou since then, despite Mr. Zhou frequent attempts to communicate with Welch, who attempted to bury the allegations.
Chinese Chicago General Consulate consul Jianming Song and Lei Wang inquired FBI chief Welch about Mr. Zhou’s case based on International Law in June 2011, Welch breached International Law and refused to reply Chinese consuls’ inquiry. In November 2012, Mr. Zhou filed his complaint with U.S. House Rep. Judy Chu on account of Welch’s felonies of misprision and obstruction of justice. Rep. Judy Chu then inquired U.S. FBI chief Welch about Mr. Zhou’s case. Welch confessed to Rep. Judy Chu that Mr. Zhou has reported his human right abuse case to FBI Indianapolis field office in April 2008. However, since then, FBI chief Welch continued to obfuscate Zhou’s case until 2015 when Welch left the FBI.

Yongping Zhou's case is not the first time that the US government officials brought false charges against innocent Chinese-American immigrants.
Sherry Chen, Dr. Xi were also the victims of government's framing, taking years to prove their innocence. All three cases reflected the corrupt officials committing violating international human rights are still at large. Those federal corrupt officials who persecuted the three Chinese-American immigrants were not brought to justice, and Americans and Chinese will find that innocent Chinese are often persecuted by federal corrupt officials, not one or two.
Chinese-Americans need the support from media. In 1982, a new immigrant Chen Guoren (Vincent Chen) was beaten to death in Detroit for being an Asian. But the criminals were only ordered to pay $3,000 and serve three years probation, with no jail time, despite the fact that they admitted to the killing. Every year, only Chinese community memorize Vincent Chen, while the mainstream media ignore the crime and legal bias based on race.
"Many Chinese media and Chinese TV programs in the United States have reported my case more than 20 times. But we need more English coverage to reveal the corruption crimes happening in the US government." Mr. Zhou said.
Mr. Zhou now resides in Los Angeles, keeps seeking help from the Chinese-American community, including the protection of the Chinese government consular.
In June 2011, the two consuls of the Consulate General of Chicago, Song Jianming and Wang Lei, negotiated the FBI sub-director WELCH for Zhou's case.
In similar case: there is no evidence from federal officials that they are agents of the People's Republic of China.
